My new soft contact lenses.

Postby susanrechais on Tue Oct 06, 2009 2:32 pm

I have been wearing my lenses for over a month now, i must say i am very pleased with the comfort.I can wear it for long periods .However i'm not seeing as clear for very long and have to use the rewetting drop very often.Today about and hour ago i took them off after nine hours and found that i was seeing cloudy for about twenty minutes.

Dear Susan
Very often , depending on the environment you work in, your eyes can dry out(eg in an air conditioned office). That's normal. Some people even have naturally very dry eyes. To find out if you have a dry eye condition please consult your eye care professional and they will be able to further assist you.
As for you seeing blurry after you take off your lenses, that's also very normal. When you wear your lenses, your brain gets accustomed to seeing better than your accustomed to. When you take your contact lenses off, your brain needs time to readjust to, (for lack of a better way to term it), not seeing properly, as a result it appears as though you're seeing cloudy.
Hope this helps a bit, and if you have any more questions I'll be more than happy to help you find the answers.
