Using the new lense

Postby reshma on Sat Aug 22, 2009 2:14 pm

I was having problems removing my lense and Petra Bridgemohan told me to use the rewetting drops befor removing the lense and I tried it and it was much easier taking them out.
When I take out my lense in the night my eyes are red and it starts to scratch.

Dear Reshma,
How many hours are you wearing your lenses dear? If you wear them for an extensive number hours without using rewetting drops periodically, you'll run into problems, especially if you work in an air conditioned environment or a dry dusty environment.
Using a rewetting drop like Clerz Plus, while wearing your lenses during the day should help. Also, after taking off your lenses at night, try a warm compress( clean rag dipped in clean warm water) for 5 to 10 minutes and then an eye lubricant that you can get over the counter, such as systane ultra or optive.
Hope this helps, if not, please consult your eye care professional.
